Smart Meter

The Smart Meter by Creta Energie Speciali (SMC) has been designed and developed to integrate key functionalities, implement Demand Response (DR) functions, and facilitate user aggregation for the creation of Renewable Energy Communities (CER). The SMC integrates multiple essential functions, including:

 

- Building automation for the automated management of home and industrial technological systems. It allows rational energy use within buildings by controlling loads, including heating, domestic hot water production, and air conditioning, optimizing energy efficiency and reducing emissions in line with the objectives of Ecobonus and Superbonus.

 

- Maximization of Collective Self-Consumption for condominiums and Renewable Energy Communities (CERs). It ensures the maximization of incentives under Article 42bis of Legislative Decree 162/19 and European Directives 2018/2001 (RED II). The smart meter measures and aggregates real-time consumption, enabling dynamic energy distribution from renewable sources, such as photovoltaics, among community members. This ensures an optimal self-consumption strategy, improving the efficiency and performance of energy sharing.
