Creta Energie Speciali (CretaES) is an academic spin-off of the University of Calabria. Among its activities, CretaES supports the creation and management of Renewable Energy Communities (CER), offering services such as technical-economic planning, drafting of constitutive documents, access to dedicated incentives, and the implementation of enabling technologies, including software platforms and smart meters.
Additionally, CretaES provides technical and scientific consulting, research and development, engineering services, and the design and realization of innovative solutions with a particular focus on the green economy and smart grid-based network systems.

Smart Street Lighting
PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY
The photovoltaic LED street lighting system includes a LED lamp, a lithium-ion storage system, microcontroller-based control electronics, and a microwave sensor. All components are integrated into the lighting device. The onboard microwave sensor detects movement near the device, optimizing energy efficiency and lighting performance.
CORPORATE PPA SUPPORT
OFFERED SERVICE
Thanks to its extensive experience in energy management, electricity markets, and dispatching, CretaES provides support in managing the latest Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) contracts, particularly Corporate PPAs. These agreements involve the direct sale of electricity produced by Renewable Energy Plants (IAFR), which are mostly non-programmable, to end users.
