Smart Street Light

The photovoltaic system for LED street lighting includes the LED lamp, the lithium-ion battery system, the control electronics with a microcontroller, and a microwave sensor. These components are all integrated within the lighting fixture. The microwave sensor, installed on the device, detects moving objects nearby. Compared to traditional infrared (PIR) technology, it operates over larger areas and greater distances from the center of the device.

  • A programmable microcontroller with remote control capability that manages essential functions such as Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) from the solar panel.
  • Optimized battery discharge system based on the type of battery (e.g., Li(NiCoMn)O2 or LifePO4).
  • Automatic light adjustment when motion is detected by the microwave sensor.
  • Three adjustable night-time work cycles, with customizable brightness levels: a base brightness and a higher brightness when movement is detected.

The solar panel is independently adjustable from the lighting fixture, ensuring optimal orientation for maximum energy capture.

Upon request, the all-in-one solar street lighting system is available in both off-grid and on-grid versions.
